Who this is for

For organisations with multiple companies, subsidiaries, branches or locations that need consistent management information across the group.

What the system helps you do

  • Review overall group performance
  • Compare business units using agreed measures
  • Understand each unit’s contribution to revenue, costs and profit
  • Investigate differences between locations or companies
  • Identify missing information and reporting inconsistencies
  • Support group management and board performance reviews

How data becomes management information

  1. 01Business unit data
  2. 02Mapping and validation
  3. 03Group measures
  4. 04Group and unit views
Information from each agreed company, branch or location is mapped to shared definitions and checked for completeness. Group measures are calculated once, so leadership can review the group result and move into each business unit.

What we build

01

A consolidated management view

We combine the agreed information into a clear group view while preserving access to individual business results.

02

Consistent measures

We align KPI definitions and explain differences in local reporting.

03

Business unit comparisons

We create comparable views across agreed companies, branches or locations.

04

Group analysis

We help leadership investigate trends, differences and contributions to the group result.

05

Reporting responsibilities and controls

We agree information ownership, access and validation procedures.

06

Training and documentation

We document the approach and help relevant teams use it consistently.

Dashboards and reports are components of the wider system. Related component pages: Group performance reporting, Management reporting, Power BI dashboards.

Understand what sits behind the group result

A strong overall result can hide weaker performance in individual businesses. The system helps management move between the group view and business unit detail.

Example questions your system can answer

  • Which businesses are contributing most to group performance?
  • Where are margins improving or declining?
  • Which locations are missing their targets?
  • Are we comparing the same measures across the group?
  • Which results need further investigation?
